Custom knife in black oak scabbard investment grade art
Powerful investment load. Fully functional tool in a museum-grade organic form. Single Unit.
The "Ursus Arctos" project is one of the most demanding projects in the Atelier's history, combining metallurgical rigor with a unique organic form. The heart of the knife is a 7 cm wide hybrid blade, in which a mosaic damascus core is permanently bonded to the cutting edge and a twister-pattern spine. The use of N9E and 15N20 steel on such a large scale required absolute precision during hardening to achieve a stable 60 HRC while maintaining stress resistance. The handle, made from legally harvested bear jaw, seamlessly transitions into a brass guard, forming a seamless whole with the black oak scabbard. It is an object with a powerful investment load, which, despite its decorative function on a living room stand, remains a full-fledged tool.
